I'm so lucky to live on a farm in Glenorie Australia, in a beautiful pocket of native bushland on the edge of the Greater Sydney limits, with my husband Dave and all of our animals.
As a Milliner and Seamstress I've been creating artist bears for as long as I can remember and these days I find myself focussing on small highly detailed collectable bears set in tableaux, drawing on inspiration from my Indigenous heritage and memories of yesteryear.
All of their accessories and decorations are bespoke creations, from their hats and bags to their tiny knitted jackets. The stands and music boxes are also hand crafted by Dave and myself, keeping the art truly in the family.
I'm so excited to share each new piece with my many bear friends, bringing smiles wherever they go.

Aloise is a vision of grace poised atop of her beautiful stand. She is waiting for someone to take her home and adore her. She wears a hand made felt hat with the most magnificent silk ribbon and a shawl that is hand painted to match her hat and the lovely frame that she comes with.
She stands 9cm on her own, 20cm on stand with frame.
Aloise is all hand sewn from German mohair with a 9mm pile. She is partly wobble jointed and has 3mm English glass eyes. She is shaded with the finest English Hand Made Pastels and Copic Pens. She is filled with stainless steel shot and polyester fill. Her nose is hand embroidered and finished in my own pigment resin.
Daffodil and Buttercup

As all garden sprites Daffodil and her little sister Buttercup have special garden sprite dust in the bottles they wear around their necks. Today they are playing at the bottom of my garden, they love hunting bugs and chasing butterflys but their favourite time of day is the late afternoon when you can smell the jasmine. So if you have jasmine these sisters will be right at home with you.
The girls are all hand sewn from hand dyed German mohair with a 9mm pile. They are partly wobble jointed and have 4mm and 3mm English glass eyes. They are shaded with the finest English Hand Made Pastels and Copic Pens and filled with stainless steel shot and polyester fill. They both have noses that are hand embroidered and finished in my own pigment resin.

Lillias is of to the theatre, it opening night and she is so excited. She is wearing her very best cardigan that her mother made her from the finest lambs wool and finished with a edge in silk. It is hand embroidered in silk and cotton threads with the teenist pearls you have ever seen.
