I am extremely passionate about what I do. My background is painting and illustration and I have also studied ceramics, design, and graphic design as well other creative subjects. I love to incorporate many different techniques into bear making as well as many other characters. Currently I am working on a series of clowns and other characters using a combination of interesting techniques. I hope you enjoy viewing my work as much as I enjoy creating it.

Edward is approximately 43 cm (17 inches) long excluding hat, and 57.5 cm (22.6 inches) long including hat.
Sitting on his box up to the top of his hat he is approximately 62 cm (24.4 inches) tall.
The box measures 42 cm (16.5 inches) long by16 cm (6.3 inches) deep by nearly 30 cm (11.8 inches) wide.
Edward’s head is completely hand sculpted in clay.
It is covered in two toned mohair to match his body.
This stunning fur was dyed by our beautiful Wendy Cosford.
He is completely hand stitched.

He is very solid and heavy.
Fully jointed.
The hat and collar are heavily hand beaded using stunning beads.
His overalls, hat and collar are made of stunning quality fabric that l have aged and painted heavily.
The antique metal button in the middle of his collar was from my collection.
The box has been texture painted underneath the diamond pattern and adorned with a boggle trim.
The tree is recycled and has beaded flowers that also have metal antique buttons in their centres.
Eric mouse was made for my own person collection but it’s now time he was enjoyed by someone who loves him also.
Edward is extremely heavy and feels like clay but is made from calico, glue and gesso - built up in layer upon layer and then hand painted.
The gorgeous metal candle holder is recycled. I’m not sure of its era!
This was a very time consuming and special piece made for a centrepiece in someone’s home!
