Sculptured or Simplified

Our show "Sculptured or Simplified" was held in February 2019.

The votes have been tallied and the winners of the "Sculptured or Simplified" show are on display below.

Congratulations to them all and a huge thank you to everyone who participated and voted. A special thankyou goes to all the wonderful artists who put so much into their creations.

1st Place	Pastel Puff	GiggleSprinkle Bears	Pastel Puff 35.5cms (14 inches) standing Pastel Puff is made with a combination of long pile dense alpaca for her face and body and a gorgeous hand dyed dense, curly mohair for her arms, legs and ears. She has been extensively scissor sculpted to get those super cute chubby cheeks. She looks out through black english glass eyes and her nose is hand-embroidered in DMC perle cotton and coated with a coloured resin, which was done by the beautiful Merilyn Pursell of Bearwildered Bears using her special formula. She is jointed with t-pins in her legs and wobble jointed arms and head. She is stuffed with polyfill and weighted with stainless steel shot to give her a nice weight. Pastel Puff has trapunto style feet which have been lightly shaded with pastels. Her face has also been airbrushed with Copic markers. Pastel Puff wears a collar made from soft pink tulle with sweet little pastel pink poms poms. She also wears an antique gold coloured necklace with a little heart pendant around her neck.
2nd Place	Lion Julian	NataStein	Hello, please meet lion "Julian" He is 7.8 inches (20 centimeters) hight, 6 way jointed, double jointed neck. You can pose him any way you would like. Shading done on his face. Lion is hand sewn by my own patterns Made from faux fur and plush. Julian has black glass eyes and is filled with wool and steel granules. He can move him head, arms and legs.
3rd Place	Daisy	Dizzy Daisy Bears	Pretty Daisy is 16” tall and is made from a luxury sunny yellow long pile faux fur with a complimentary lemon short pile faux fur. She is five way jointed using cotterpin for the head and bolts in the limbs. Weighted with steel shot. Daisy has hand blown black glass eyes and sports a pretty bouquet of flowers on her head
4th Place	Wilbur	Relish Bears	Wilbur Wilbur is made from quality long pile faux fur. He has a needle felted muzzle and nose. His eyes are made from black German glass.. He is 5 way jointed with lock nuts and bolts. He is stuffed with polyfil and has glass beads in his belly to give him a nice weight. Wilbur’s toes are needle felted and therefore he will not stand unsupported. Wilbur wears a satin ribbon bow with a “Relish Bears” disc attached.
