2020年7月25日，【明理講堂2020年第15期暨百家大講堂Online系列專題學(xué)術(shù)講座】有幸邀請到美國孟菲斯大學(xué)商業(yè)信息與技術(shù)系教授梁會剛教授為大家?guī)眍}為“AI in Medicine: Opportunities and Challenges”的學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告。主持人為新西蘭懷卡多大學(xué)William Yuchung Wang教授。
梁會剛教授的報(bào)告從四個(gè)角度對醫(yī)療領(lǐng)域的AI應(yīng)用情況進(jìn)行了闡述：什么是AI、AI如何工作、醫(yī)療領(lǐng)域的AI，以及約束和挑戰(zhàn)。梁會剛教授基于AlphGo、圖像識別、皮膚病識別等實(shí)例，使用圖表生動地向大家介紹了AI的概念、原理和應(yīng)用，并闡述醫(yī)療領(lǐng)域的AI存在著可解釋性、數(shù)據(jù)需求和可轉(zhuǎn)移性等方面的限制，以及患者安全、醫(yī)患關(guān)系、公共信任等方面的挑戰(zhàn)。
報(bào)告結(jié)束后，參會學(xué)者積極與梁會剛教授在醫(yī)療領(lǐng)域的AI問題上進(jìn)行了熱烈的討論和交流。報(bào)告反響熱烈，受到了廣大師生的一致好評！
附：梁會剛教授簡介 Huigang Liang is Professor and FedEx Chair of Excellence in MIS of Business Information and Technology Department at The University of Memphis. He received his M.S. degree in computer science and his Ph.D. degree in healthcare information systems from Auburn University, in 2002 and 2003, respectively. His research interests include socio-behavioral, managerial, and strategic information technology issues at both individual and organizational levels in a variety of contexts. His work has appeared in MIS Quarterly (MISQ), Information Systems Research (ISR), Journal of MIS, Journal of AIS, MIT Sloan Management Review, Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, Information Systems Journal, and Journal of Strategic Information Systems, among other publications. He has served as associate editor for MISQ and is currently senior editor for JAIS and associate editor for ISR and Information & Management.
